Found Art (and Literature)

ilovesex.gif

Found Magazine is a periodical dedicated to publishing notes and pictures that some people throw away and other people find. It's a great time suck for when you're bored at work because the web site seems fairly innocuous (i.e., it isn't porn or job postings).
I don't know about you, but after reading a few masterful bits of prose, like the one shown above (found on a street in Queens), I'm starting to see litter in a whole new light.

Now I am left to ponder the mystery of why this little cyber slut has a stick and what is the significance?

I love that site! A few weeks back, I found a rather sad & tragic letter outside of LLU's new house from some woman to a former flame who was now apparently in prison and was looking to her for help. I debated on sending it to found....but it was 6pgs long, so I didn't.

Ellen told me about a bookstore where they carry Found Magazine. I want to get a few before I subscribe. I am really addicted to "found" stuff. My house seems to be full of it!

Actually Lucky, your letter would be perfect for the hard copy version of the magazine. The web site is only for photos and short notes, the magazine publishes longer letters and essays.
