Darlin's Fourth of July Playlist

Not that you asked, but in case you were wondering how I'll be celebrating Independence Day, here's my recommended listening:

"Firecracker" - Ryan Adams
"Dynamite" - Son Volt (oops - that album, American Central Dust, isn't out until Tuesday - but you should get it early for next year)
"Red, White, and Blues" - Jack Ingram
"Travelin' Soldier" - Bruce Robison (or the Dixie Chicks)
"Fourth of July" - Shooter Jennings
"Metal Firecracker" - Lucinda Williams (I know - it's kind of a stretch)
"Freedom's Child" - Billy Joe Shaver
"Fourth of July" - Dave Alvin (or Robert Earl Keen. Either way - it's unpatriotic not to listen to some version of Dave Alvin's "Fourth of July" on the Fourth of July)

And finally...every Punk Rock Bowler's Favorite:

"God Bless the U.S.A." - Lee Greenwood

Happy Independence Day!
